In-Person 45 Minute Somatic Nervous System Support Session

Description
A body-centered approach to supporting nervous system regulation, restoring ease, and enhancing resilience. Our bodies hold the imprint of stress, overwhelm, and long-standing patterns of tension—sometimes in ways we don’t even realize. When the nervous system is stuck in cycles of high alert, exhaustion, or disconnection, it can contribute to a wide range of symptoms, including: ? Chronic muscle tension or unexplained physical discomfort ? Fatigue that doesn’t improve with rest ? Sensitivity to stress or feeling easily overwhelmed ? Difficulty relaxing, even in calm environments ? Brain fog, trouble focusing, or feeling disconnected from your body ? Patterns of restlessness or feeling “on edge” ? Shallow breathing or holding tension in the jaw, shoulders, or stomach These mind-body integration sessions focus on supporting nervous system regulation—gently helping your system shift out of these patterns and find greater ease. Each session is unique, guided by what feels most present for you that day. We may explore: ✔ Tracking and noticing body sensations to build awareness of tension and ease. ✔ Exploring movement, breath, or sensory tools to allow the nervous system to reorganize naturally. ✔ Following the body’s own pacing to help shift stuck patterns without force or overwhelm. ✔ Working with specific experiences when the body signals readiness—without needing to relive or analyze events. ✔ Supporting resilience by working with your system’s ability to return to balance over time. Rather than focusing solely on verbal processing, these sessions emphasize how your body is holding stress today and what it needs to unwind and reset. Who Can Benefit from These Sessions? Mind-body integration sessions can be helpful for anyone who wants to: ✔ Ease chronic tension and discomfort that doesn’t seem to resolve through traditional methods. ✔ Support the nervous system after long-term stress or burnout. ✔ Feel more present and connected rather than stuck in cycles of exhaustion or hyper-alertness. ✔ Explore a body-based approach to well-being with or without working with specific events. These sessions do not involve talk therapy or trauma processing in a traditional sense but instead focus on how stress and past experiences are held in the body and how we can support the nervous system in finding ease over time. What This Work Is & Isn't: ✅ What This Is: ? A body-based approach to nervous system regulation and stress relief. ? Support for physiological trauma—focusing on how stress and past experiences are held in the body and nervous system, rather than processed cognitively. ? A space to increase awareness of body signals, sensations, and responses. ? A gentle, titrated process that moves at your own pace. ? A way to support your body’s natural rhythms without forcing change. ? What This Is Not: ❌ Not Talk Therapy – SE focuses on body sensations and responses, rather than in-depth verbal processing. ❌ Not a Medical Treatment – SE supports nervous system regulation but does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. ❌ Not Energy Healing – SE is based in physiology and neuroscience, not metaphysical practices. ❌ Not Forceful or Aggressive – SE avoids pushing for physical releases or reliving past experiences. ❌ Not Focused on "Fixing" – The goal is awareness and support, not forcing change. ❌ Not Only for Trauma – SE is for anyone experiencing stress, tension, or nervous system dysregulation—not just trauma survivors. ❌ Not One-Size-Fits-All – Every session is personalized based on your needs and comfort level. How This Differs from the Foundations Session The Foundations Session introduces the work, explaining how the process unfolds and offering basic exercises to help you get a feel for somatic work. It’s a space to explore the fundamentals of body awareness and nervous system regulation before diving deeper. The Integration Sessions are for ongoing support, exploration, and addressing patterns of stress and tension. These sessions help build on what was introduced in the Foundations Session, offering deeper engagement with how your body holds and processes stress over time.
